i got so much done and still have so much to do! i’m making headway on my thesis prospectus, however, so that’s good. other than this short break, i’ve been working almost non-stop today, and i’m exhausted.
i finished my CV and i’m almost done with my Resume; i just need to write a Teaching Philosophy statement.
i spent some time with Stephen Burt today, if any of you know who that is; he visited the school and spoke last night, and i had the oddly fortunate opportunity to drive him to the airport today! —not everyday you get to hang out with someone who has changed Contemporary Poetry critically multiple times in the last decade. awesome. as. fuck.
i also taught today; only one class (bc of the airport journey) instead of the usual four, but it was by myself (jeff worked on documents for teaching to get them out of the way).
i drove 280-some miles today. i’ll be up around 730 as well.
